I heart smiles

This week's challenge is Smiles on iheartfaces.com and I just love this sweet simple smile. It is not a full out cheese face that I normally love, but this one captures her personality and the joy I find in her.

Now swing on over to i heart faces to see the other amazing smiles : )

I heart dessert!

i heart faces is having a baking contest. No, not by taste as most bake-offs are, but photos of desserts of course, and Bakerella is the judge! And it just so happens, that my daughter's 5th birthday party was this past weekend. And is just so happens, that I have an amazing husband who can decorate the BEST cakes... And yes, Bakerella, I will be making your amazing cake balls with my leftover cake!

Little Dreamer

I am just starting to catch up on my blog, so I thought I would start with my most recent. This little baby was a dream to photograph!! She slept the whole time - It might have helped that I cranked the heat up to womb temperature ; ) And she was even sweet enough to give Stacey and I a chance to chat while she nursed. Just what us moms need ; )

Such a doll

I am thrilled to have captured this expression!
I still remember my newborns making this face : )

A very special shower gift

I love the tight grips of a newborn

I Hope They Dance

iheartfaces.com is having a dance contest - photography style. This photo of all these little girls trying to "bust a move" has always made me laugh : ) So I touched it up with some texture and added a dash of pink - I mean really, can a ballerina ever have too much pink -
especially if she is 3? I don't think so!

Can you almost taste the sand?

This week for the iheartfaces. com the contest is all about texture - now at first I thought great I have these awesome pictures from our trip to Williamsburg (future blog post waiting to happen)I-Sah and I played the "texture game" with the camera, but then I thought of this picture of my 6 year and it just made me feel like I could feel the grains of sand between my teeth and I thought, "Ok, now THAT is texture."

Baby Bellies are the BEST!

I love baby bellies! Nothing is as beautiful as a round pregnant belly. I was so delighted to go around town with Susan who is 5 weeks away from her due date. We made so many stops, even in the cold. She really is such a good friend to be my guinea pig and did I mention it was cold (20something cold)!!!! Here are my first belly shots:

This one was fun to photoshop, The sun was too bright and washed out most of her face. But it seemed like a cute shot, so I had to keep playing with it until I got the above picture. Here is the before:

I love Susan's laugh in this one and how her belly matched the rod iron in the back

Thanks Susan! I had such fun : ) And we can't wait to meet you little Luke!
